BTW with the first one, you did have 2 of the Eagles song at the bottom, so I removed one.

That one showed in my region as "video unavailable", mate.

Yes, I didn't even know they were there....hit the refresh button out of sheer curiosity. That bought up the ducls postings at 9.26 and 9.40

I think it may have been a temporary YouTube thing, or maybe a site thing taking time/not doing the URL unfurling properly.

They showed up properly after a refresh.

The Doors had a 'tribute' to Otis Redding.

I have a CD in my collection Titled "The Ultimate Otis Redding" . 20 of his best stuff, including "Dock of the Bay", "Mr. Pitiful", "Open the Door", and "Chained and Bound". In some of the songs, you can hear his heart breaking!! It is on the Warner Special Products label, #9-27608-2, Published in 1986. According to the Documentation, all selections were recorded in Memphis, Tennessee. One of the featured musicians is "Donald "Duck" Dunn, who also was in the "Blues Brothers" band.

For some reason, that reminds me of The Band. There's the Last Waltz on YouTube, for folks who are so inclined. The full show was pretty long, but I'll link it -- and likely let it play in the background for a while.

My late wife Elaine used to know Billy (before my time with her).

He was a Brisbane lad and lived near her folks.

Elaine had 3 brothers-in-law - Barrie, Barry and Terry, all guitarists playing in bands. Billy used to come over to her folks garage and jam with the boys.

Wish I could have been there.

That one Brian shared is an interesting one, because it was written not just by Chris himself.

"Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" was written by a team of four: Christopher Cross, Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, and Peter Allen. The 1981 hit, from the movie Arthur, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and was famously co-written to feature the line "When you get caught between the moon and New York City".

That one just had "Hit" written across it from the get go.
