  • Finding Black Arch Linux very interesting. And, annoyed with this script that keeps locking up my browser.
    Looking at Free BSD.

    Is anyone here running it?

    I'm just seeing this now.

I don't mind BSD. I'd be likely to use BSD if Linux didn't exist. However, I'm more of a GhostBSD fan. It's quite simple to install/use and still good looking.
Feeling like total crap! Sore throat, headache, sinus pain last few days have been pretty rough.

gargle warm salty water, put a warm-hot face washer over your nose and eustachian tubes (they run from top of nose to ears)as hot as you can stand...dont burn yourself!
Mix honey, ginger, bit of garlic, ....warm.....drink slowly.....break it down with a little warm water if you need to.....a half teaspoon of tumeric sometimes helps and a shake of fine black pepper.

    Thanks mate!
Hot ginger tea with honey and garlic works.
The only that kills the painful sore throat is Tylenol.

I don't build my machines these days, and always preferred AMD when I did, so if it were me building it for say granddaughter then I would choose Ryzen 5 9600X paired with AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Talked to a rep at G. Skill yesterday. It was like talking to a robot.

Trying to find a local store in my town or the next town over to get my bf 2 sticks of DDR3 has been a challenge.
Hopefully it will get taken care of this coming week.
Just found out that installing Android "BlissOS" isn't that difficult on a triple booted Linux box. You just have to make a menu entry so Grub knows about it.
    :)

I'd never even heard of BlissOS; thanks for sharing. Could be interesting to explore.
Contemplating on going back to learning how to write code for Linux over the approaching summer OR> learning how to build my own Linux os:-
Enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. After a long winter 61 degrees is a real treat!
Recovering from the flu. The fever and cough is gone however the sinus stuff and sore throat is still hanging around. Starting to feel a little more like myself.

Thanks Brian. I'm having small periods where I feel better. I think it's on it's way out.
