I always thought this was Phil Collins

There is actually a link between them.

Peter was the original front man for the British band Genesis. Some time later, Phil Collins became drummer, and when Peter left to go solo, Phil stepped up and became front man.

Another snippet of trivia about "Games Without Frontiers: by Gabriel is that Kate Bush did the background vocal/chorus "Jeux sans frontieres" on it.

Phil stepped up and became front man.

And he did something I find difficult. I can play complicated guitar pieces while singing, but I can't do that (very well) while playing the drums. I've known many drummers, and very few of them can sing well while playing. It's maybe something I could improve if I spent a bunch of time practicing it.

My 19th and 20th artists were ones I saw three times each because

• they toured Australia frequently and
• they were just so good

They were Billy Joel and and Elton John.

My first Elton John concert I saw at Festival Hall in Brisbane on 8 December 1980.

Had it been a day later, the show may have been cancelled, because on New York time 8 December, Elton's dear friend John Lennon was assassinated,

Elton featured John's "Imagine" in the setlist, but little could we know what would occur.

In March 1982, I attended Elton's concert, again at Festival Hall, on 23rd March.

He had just finished six (6) shows in Sydney before going north, and it was there that the song "Empty Garden" was premiered, dedicated to Lennon, who had died 15 months earlier.

Their tours together were awesome. It was a great value for the ticket price.

They called it the Face To Face tour, though it was really multiple tours. I last saw them in like 2009 or 2010. Those years were a bit fuzzy but I think it was one of them.

My 21st artists was/were Roxy Music, featuring Brian Ferry.

I was there 29 January 1981 at Brisbane's Festival Hall.

This was another tour that was impacted by John Lennon's death,

"Jealous Guy" was released as a tribute, and premiered in Germany prior to being included on the set list for Down Under.

I have also included one of my faves, "Over You", and one which had not been written then, "Avalon".

I had to look them up. I don't remember them getting much radio play here in the US. So, I never heard of them.
