Post a screenshot of your Desktop

Back to Manjaro ARM from Raspbian on my RPi4. After few weeks, raspbian became unstable. This time I pimped my Manjaro setup a bit which I usually don't do on my other setups.

Mint Xfce 20.3 - fairly standard with a few tweaks:

- modified Mint-Y theme which shows black text instead of grey (easier on my eyes)

- modified icon theme which displays green Papirus Folders and Places and Mint-Y icons (I don't like the Mint-Y folder icons and am not overly fond of the Papirus icon theme as a whole).

- CSS to change the Window Button highlighting and clock font size on the panel, and also the tooltip colours.

Mint 20.3 Xfce with a Transparent theme and a Mint flavoured Conky
replaced with image showing Seconds in Conky clock and Title Bar Buttons changing round to square when selected

Is that your picture? I know where that is! ;-)

EDIT: I should have read the thread. LOL You mentioned where it was and, lo and behold, I was correct in my guess! (I've been there before, multiple times.)

I went to school way back 1969 It was SMTC at the time walked by that light almost everyday. Only went one semester had to take a semester off but was drafted in between. Wish I could take credit for the photo but was not mine. A long lost friend's.

A long lost friend's.

They have some legit camera skills, 'cause that's one heck of a picture.

Even though I'm technically 'from away', I've explored more of Maine than most natives will ever explore - and there's a whole lot to explore. There's no road around me that I have not driven on. I've been from Fort Kent to Kittery - and Castine to Upton - and I've enjoyed it all. I've been on the tops of her mountains, down her rivers and streams, across her lakes and through her trails, and enjoyed each and every season.

It's kinda unfortunate that most Mainers will never get to experience that. They're too busy working their arses off, trying to make ends meet.

And, we'll ignore Lewiston for the purpose of this digression.

but was drafted in between

I limbo'ed under the line nicely. I didn't turn 18 until very late in '75. My dumb-arse would still join in '78.

On a laptop:

The top-most bar is actually a self-made dock. It's actually just another panel that disappears automatically. It only shows up when you hover your mouse at the top for a half second. It then disappears when you move the mouse away for a half second.

You'll note that it's not my usual BMW desktop!

This one is just a neat image I found on Reddit, If you look carefully, it's about BTC/crypto mining. It's a great tongue-in-cheek take on crypto mining. I set it as a lark and just haven't changed it 'cause I don't actually see my desktop for more than a few seconds, and then I only see it every couple of weeks when I reboot.

Slowly figuring this all out a lot more work on arch but still loving it :p

any tips? :D

And regressed back to the stone age style because after a fresh installation it turned out conky is dead. Unless its main developer decided to revive it but considering he hasn't updated it in over a year, I doubt he would...
