And regressed back to the stone age style because after a fresh installation it turned out conky is dead. Unless its main developer decided to revive it but considering he hasn't updated it in over a year, I doubt he would...

LOL I've been there! I forget where exactly I was going, but along the way there was a Wizard of Oz festival - in Chittenango I think. I forget where I went specifically, but it was to grab an Impreza for parts for the missus' rallycross adventures.
