I'm on the short side of 80. I revived a 15 year old HP laptop which could barely run WIN10 by installing Linux MINt and a new SSD HD. I like it so much I'm gonna set up Zorin OS along with WIN 11on my newer HP Probook on two separate drives.

It's been said that keeping the brain active is essential for older folks. I can truthfully say that messing around in Linux has certainly tested my mental faculties, such as they are!I've gone ahead and moved this to 'Member Introductions', as it suits that sub-forum better than this one.
That said, welcome aboard!
As for our ages, we skew heavily to the 'older' side. While we do have some younger users, including kids, we're kind of old. If your age is correct, you're about a decade older than I am. Heh... Remember when we wanted to be the oldest person in the group? Ah, the vagaries of youth...
We have at least one member in their 90s, I'm pretty sure. If not, they're really close to that.
Anyhow, welcome aboard. We're the friendliest general-Linux forum on the 'net.
