Hi. I've been running Linux Mint XIA for about a month with no problems. I had a major crash last week - a total black screen meltdown - and was finally able to get the system back up and running after help from the mint forum. Since the crash, there are emerging issues: the computer no longer can open any USB devices, and Bluetooth connectivity is really spotty. It won't recognize my JBL Bluetooth speaker, but it will recognize my iPhone, for example. This was not a problem a week ago, so it is definitely connected to the crash.
I was thinking of doing a full reinstall of the XIA OS, but I wanted to back up my data first - but the computer will not recognize the WD MyPassport drive. I don't store anything on the cloud at all. I have no idea how I can do a full install without downloading the os onto a usb drive.
Can anyone advise? Or am I now the proud owner of a brick? HELP
