I have a lot still to do, but I had to download i3-wm back. Kept itching to change, I had no choice haha :D.

It's been a while I used window managers, I forgot how fast switching between workspace is.

Colors aren't perfect yet but I love it, next on the list kitty terminal and then I'm getting back on normal coding haha. I switched to Kubuntu as backup and sway in daily drive, I wanted Wayland :D.

I might code a little theme changer, it's been going on my head for a while.

New to me machine, new to me nice clean desktop, [it won't stay that way for long]

I actually prefer a plain simple desktop background over a busy cluttered desktop background.

This of course is my opinion as I know several users who have no room on their desk top because of everything displayed on it.

Whatever one is comfortable using I say go for it. ;)

I used to have many program icons on desktop when using Windows, however I've come to habit to use application menu to run programs, and my top used programs are all pinned to taskbar for quick access.

Also due to virtual desktops in KDE I have programs maximized to cover whole screen.

This all together makes desktop not needed and I rarely look at it at all.

I'm totally agreed with that. I'm doing the same, but now in KDE not using the workspaces... I'm trying to focus on what I have in front, lol.

Anyway, a free desktop it's in my opinion, clean and gives you peace...
