My Goodness, the US missed out on a wonderful experience.
It's a bit 'pop-ey' for my taste, though I did play a lot of pop music in the era. When I was enlisted, I did not do any really consistent performing for money gigs, though I did do some session work and sit in for the occasional gig. It was interesting when my duty station changed. I also got to take lessons from many musicians over the years.
Of all the songs you shared, Let's Stick Together would be my favorite. It almost sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't have any direct recollection. I do not believe I've heard them before.
There's a chance that I have heard them and just didn't know who they are and don't remember them. That's a non-zero chance as I've encountered a lot of music that I won't remember and won't know who the artists were. I have been exposed to a lot of music.
I may have just missed it. He did not do well overall in the Billboard top 200, though he did have some songs that weren't unpopular.

As I go through his list of songs, I don't recall any of them. At the time, I was an avid radio listener and purchased a ton of music. (As you know, we couldn't just download stuff back then.) I still have a ton of that music media, all the way through to CDs - which I still sometimes buy. But, I digress... Though, it is still music-related.
Do you still have your old records, 8 tracks, cassette tapes, and CDs?
