This site for the most part works.

Sure we have a few fiddly annoying bits, (search leaves lots to be desired), and a few others.

To change it for the 'look' is not for me.

on the subject of the search facility......an improvement there could save a lot of work on the part of the members here.....yeah I know a lot of people will not use the search...they prefer to be spoon fed./.....But it still makes a great deal of sense to have a search facility that is outstanding, not just run of the mill below average.
I believe it would also bring people back to this site

while not knowing what powers this site atm, discourse is not FOSS, and hence -1 from my side for that.

I kinda like the current page. There seem to be some issues with spam, which you guys seem to deal with pretty well. Idk how much effort that is though ofc.
I hang out here so much as well because I like the interface. I pretty much only use the "new posts" functionality and the chat sometimes.

As I'm already here, here's my wishlist:

• dark mode
• AI bot to answer simple questions
• a way to spend credits maybe, but idk. Totally unimportant. Maybe something where I can "give credits" to sbd for answering well or starting a cool thread

I'm surprised you all have stuck to Linux for so long and haven't moved to BSD since BSD changes a lot less compared to Linux when it comes to do how they do things. I guess my days are numbered here since almost no one here likes change. I guess this is goodbye?

I destroyed the site at 8am.

Not for me, it was midday here, so it hade more effect on what I was doing,..never mind as they say you have to break an egg to make an omelette
