Hello everyone,
My name is Rodney and I’m based in Atlanta. I’m currently deepening my hands-on skills in Linux, Bash, Vim/VI, Git/GitHub, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native tooling as part of my transition into a Multi-Cloud / Kubernetes-focused engineering role.
While I’m making steady progress, I often hit roadblocks on what seem like simple exercises or labs. Without a local peer group or mentor to ask questions in real time, tasks can take much longer than they should — or stall entirely. I’ve found that learning and troubleshooting in person or live with others makes a huge difference.
I’m looking to connect with:
If you’re local to Atlanta (or know someone who is), or if you have suggestions on where to connect with the right community, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for your time,
Rodney

I’m looking to connect with:
- Others at a similar learning stage who want to study together
- Engineers a bit further along who wouldn’t mind occasional mentoring or guidance
- Any Atlanta-area Linux/Kubernetes groups, study sessions, or informal meetups
If you’re local to Atlanta (or know someone who is), or if you have suggestions on where to connect with the right community, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for your time,
Rodney
