just want to run 2 windows games but i cant :(

  • add these environment variables:
Code:
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1
__VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only
__GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia
FYI @CPL_Canada, you do this by adding these lines to /etc/environment then you will have to logout and then log back in again. When you do this it will be enabled for everything instead off needing to add them to your launch options for each game.

i tried Wine... lutris... portproton.. and nearly all the versions of proton experimtenal in steam
google says i need to run GE proton + lurist to have a good experience...
Yes you need Lutris, however GE Proton that's bundled with Lutris doesn't work with all games, in that case the alternative is native wine. RN it's at version 10.0 but you can also try out staging version.

Your screenshots don't show you're using Lutris, and PopOS is not good for gaming.
I have feeling you're not committed enough with Lutris, maybe didn't work on it enough to explore options, in you post #3 you confuse Lutris with some other program, so please try again.

I play all of my 100 games in library by using Lutris and either GE Proton or WineHQ, and they all work except 1 or 2.
