Ok, my experience is pretty good. Weird thing is that the black mac (with LMDE 6 32 bit) can find and connect to the wifi at my house while my air (with XFCE) didn't

Typed one sentence in my air and its good. I also tried opening Youtube (on the black one) but it's slow for some reason, try searching Youtube from the textbar but the Mozilla says it can't find it.

Do I have to update my browser?

I recently had the same issue with MX, try turning the WiFi off and On again.
Seemed to work for me.

That is a Multi ISO.
It should have both on there. Give it a shot! :)

It works! (The other version, not the one in the pic)

I got it working, but the trackpad becomes funny a bit?

By the way, what does the "install linux" do? Will it wipe out the hard drive and install the linux there? I want to wipe out the drive

it installs your chosen Linux to the main drive, when you install at the partitioning phase most distributions will ask do you want to install XXX to the whole drive ..warning this will wipe your drive, do to wish to install alongside other operating systems or manually partition, just choose use complete disc, and let it do the work

My air got a weird partition i never knew exist, and I'd like to wipe it out (as In removing the partition and hopefully reclaim the space?)

I would say that might be the OSX recovery partition.
If you ever want to reinstall OSX, then you should keep it.
However, you can nuke it and install Linux over the whole thing (I did this on my 2008 IMac)
The space can be reclaimed.

So when I "install linux" I might be just installing it on my main partition and keep the mac os in the weird partition?

I might verify the partition

To add to the comment above, the installer will do what you tell it to do. We can't tell you what it will do unless we know which buttons you press and which options you choose. Fortunately, it's pretty straightforward.

just curious, I can't seem to get debian working, on my black mac it just didn't show up in the startups

do I just type it there? it doesn't seem to work?
Just type in the terminal and then press enter
Or copy the code and paste into terminal, then press enter.
If it's not working what error it showing?
Btw which distro you are using?

I haven't installed any distros to any of my mac yet, I'm still trying it out

the error is "command not found"
