No? It's well worth watching. I saw it live. Hmm... I should probably watch it again, 'cause it has been a whole lotta years since I last saw it. (Not *that* many, but still... I have it on DVD somewhere.)

Probably have already been posted but what the hell Elton John rocks.

Yeah, but hey - The Wizard from Uriah Heep has been posted 4 times I think, the first one by me. Still good listening. ;)

Hey Brian I wonder who gave you the idea for The Pretenders? (Hint, hint)

Here's a little Carly Simon.

I effin' love James Mother Effin' Taylor.

Been walking my mind to an easy time, my back turned towards the sun
Lord knows when the cold wind blows, it'll turn your head around
Well there's hours of time on the telephone line to talk about things to come
Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground

Lyrics don't get much better than that. By the way Flying Machines was the name of a previous band that James Taylor had been a part of. The band failed for reasons I do not remember and am too lazy to look up.

Point being that James MFing Taylor is straight up awesome. I've seen him perform *dozens* of times. Yes, plural of dozen many times. I've seen him almost as many times as I've seen Bob Dylan, and not as many times as I've seen the Grateful Dead.

Both the Dead tunes are excellent jams.

Skeletons From The Closet (from which Friend of the Devil came from, at least in this rendition) is a great album.

If someone wants a 'light' intro into the Grateful Dead, I'd start by suggesting "Working Man's Dead" as a good starting point.

Working Man's Dead good album.

LOL now the old ladys mad she dont like Grateful Dead.
and i got it loud.;)

If you're already in trouble, crank 'Reckoning' and see if she's a fan after that!

ill mix it in on her mp3 in the car and not tell her that its the Grateful Dead and she will probably like it. i can understand her not liking GWAR but not not liking the dead.

Anything from American Beauty or Working Man's Dead will be fairly likable by people who aren't die hard fans. As much as we might like China Doll, live and 23 minutes long, most folks gotta work up to that - or simply won't be fans of it in the slightest.
