I’ve seen this issue a few times, and in many cases it’s related to the kernel or missing firmware.
You can first check which kernel you’re running with:
uname -r
If it’s an older kernel, updating it sometimes fixes hardware problems (especially Wi-Fi and graphics). Also make sure the linux-firmware package is installed, since some devices won’t work properly without it.
