Around four days ago I was using my computer and it randomly shut off and when I turned it back on there was no wifi. I tried to not only check my gateway to see if my mac address was showing up, using
Code:
mmcli radio
to see if my computer was working. This is a fedora computer and I tried to switch to gentoo on a livegui install and even that was the same result no wifi. Can I get some experience please

What is output of..

Code:
lspci | grep -i wi-fi
nmcli dev wifi list

If it's a usb adapter..
Code:
lsusb

if it does not work in fedora or another live distro but was working before then I would say you have 1 of 2 problems...

1... USB port problem. solution.... move the wifi to a different usb port. test the current usb ports to see they do work.

2... your USB adapter is no longer functioning. Try a different known working usb wifi adapter and see what happens.

sometimes things break and stop working.... In all OS's. sometimes support for an old device is discontinued (even in linux).
