Unsolved-No sound from new Mint installation

If you're referring to single click on folders, this is a DE desktop function, you should find it somewhere in desktop settings.
KDE desktop has it, but IDK for Cinnamon.

Yes, single click on folders. I am still searching for "desktop settings".

Quick search reveals 2 options:
1. search assist (AI) says:

go to the file manager preferences and select the option for single click.

2. Mint forums:

Go to Computer at top left of Desktop then
Then click on Edit then Preferences at the bottom of the drop down list
Then click Behaviour

Click on menu, type in files. Then Edit, Preferences.

Then in the pane on the left, select behaviour and click on SINGLE Click to open items

I thank you both for the help. I have it sorted now to single click. The installation is beginning to become more instinctive. I am learning how things can be changed if I can only find where to look.
I am trying to find time to install a dedicated sound card to get sound to function in Linux.
