Can you post outpu ot these two --
Code:
inxi -MnNs

uname -a

The wifi device may exist, but not have a recognized driver.
So:
Code:
lshw -C network
And post the results.

. . . but may have to update the kernel to have functionality in wifi.
So, . . . beat you to it, jglen490!

Are we here to feed our egos, or to help people?
I'm learning, too. But helping others is what my intent is,not getting kudos!

. . . unless a 5.5 kernel is needed. So, carry on, jglen490!

In my experience some Debian based distros require rfkill command to turn wireless on, so bare this in mind even if the firmware/drivers are installed.

Example rfkill unblock wlan
rfkill unblock all

thanks for the help, already make changes do not study informatica, I like a lot linux, I do not know anything windows, enter from windows and I do not have internet can not activate WIFI active button and only return to disabled state, either install ubuntu 18 LTS and Tails and I also do not have WIFI, try to reset BIOS windows system but I indicated error also try to update kernel version but indicade error,

I had previously modified the GRUB since I did not have access to graphic version of the system , only had access to terminal version, for please would you like give me some suggestion
