Since I don't have a mobile phone I haven't bothered enabling Facebook's Two-Factor authentication. Today I went online for the first time in almost 4 weeks and now I can't get on Facebook. I've tried searching for videos and articles on how to circumvent the need for a mobile phone to accomplish Two-Factor authentication but haven't found any that are useful and workable for me.

Please help me, anyone!

Contact Facebook support, this has nothing to do with Linux or a computer problem.

Well, I access Facebook through a web browser also (usually Brave), and now I'm unable to log in.

1. How does one contact Facebook Support?
2. Seems sufficiently computer-related to me, but if any mod wants to move this thread to Off-Topic, feel free to do so!

Somewhere here probbably, your question isn't appropriate here since this forum isn't about Facebook. The more appropriate place for this question would be in the facebook sub-reddit, r/facebook. Facebook is a social media website and it has nothing to do with a computer problem you are having and because you are having a Facebook website account problem it has nothing to do with your computer or Linux.

To all those who think I'm just stupid and inept for not figuring this out by myself, I would like to point to the thread https://linux.org/threads/i-have-no-phone-but-want-to-register-a-telegram-account.38932/ which I started in January and I still haven't found a solution.

And to add some context, my circumstances in general are such that I am only infrequently able to go online, usually 2-3 times per month. I spend most of this time downloading news and education videos to my laptop which I then watch at home (where I do not have an Internet connection).

Also most websites that offer 2FA have a way of recovering your account when you lose your 2FA method, since you don't have one anyways there should be a recover option for you to use also as well. Maybe these will help.

No, none of these address the specific angle of my predicament, i.e. not having access to a mobile phone.

Thank you but also this page doesn't solve my issue. My problem is not recovering my account but being able to go through the Two-Factor Authentication without having access to a phone.

Btw. I have attempted using services like freephonenum.com and receivesms.org also without any luck.
