@Condobloke
morning Brian, I don't know what your grypping about, I live in a village in East Anglia only 4 miles from a major town which has superfast cable, as for us

Ping 17.0 ms
Jitter 7.55ms
Download 34.3 Mbps [its a good day today ,usually just over 30]
Upload 7.66 Mbps

Brian

Download: 93.58 Mbit/s
Upload: 16.86 Mbit/s

That's better than mine, by a wide margin!

My ISP recently informed me that I can get 'bonded ADSL', so I can now double my speed. They're supposed to come change some hardware on Thursday. You'll still be faster than I am, and probably for a lot less money.

And the results of that upgrade:

My new Dell XPS desktop arrived yesterday. Not sure why, but it gets much better download speeds. Both computers have gigabit ethernet cards. No other networking upgrades, just the PC.

While it's not much of an upgrade - it's pretty much twice as fast as it used to be.

I'll take it!

I just had my internet speed upgraded from 600Mbit/s to 1000Mbit/s :cool:
