Originally was using Ubuntu 25.10 because of the rolling security updates and what not.
Well the school I'm currently enrolled in uses parrot OS (Sound familiar? hackthebox). So I ventured into using Kali, And honestly it's way better than using Ubuntu. Even tho using Ubuntu didn't have anything to do with my current problem.

After going from Ubuntu the then Arch.

Booting up Kali Linux showed me this error:

( 0.202144] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\SB.PCI0], AE_NOT_FOUND (20250404/psobject-220)
( 0.202144] ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20250404/psobject-220)

Maybe it has something to do with my BIOS acting up? It's noticeable that Could not resolve symbol could maybe mean that "\SB>PCI0" is the "symbol" not being recognized?

I am going to guess you have a Celeron CPU? Some models are known to cause ACPI errors

you may be better trying Parrot on your machine as you have some experience with it [HTB is just one of a handful of variants, for general computing the home edition is good, and if you want to install the "Tools" for practicing its very easy]

kali is the first distro i ever used. I understand kali linux completely. Just wanted to see if someone knew what was going on with my laptops hardware. parrot os is still gonna have the same problem im having now

If you have a Celeron CPU, and it is causing the problem [that is what your report is telling me] then there are fixes but if they will work on Kali Is another question

I can see that. A little more searching the web showed me the supported operating system page showed RedHatLinux as a fix.

If my PC crashes again during boot time. Ill be forced to install RHEL and try the method again.
Downloading the Intel Driver and Support tool for linux showed that my "Product" wasn't supported. But RHEL was so thanks BrickWizard.

well now the error doesn't show up at all anymore? weird.
