No. I run 80 Linux Distros, and I have Kali installed, but only feed it updates once a month. The only reason I have it is to be able to check eg "Yes, that's right", or "No, that's wrong". My friends above have covered that.

I'd second that. Plan on a few years to really know what's going on, maybe more - it depends on how much you put into learning Linux during that period.
