I keep getting errors like this while installing KDE Neon

I keep getting errors in the format of "Command (insert command) failed to finish in (time). There was no output from command." I'm downloading the system to a 64GB SD Card (I'm using a 16 GB to boot the system) and it generally gets somewhere around 60-70% before quitting from one of these errors. I have my system in AHCI mode, and the SD card's partition scheme is MBR, the file system is Large FAT32, the boot selection is non-bootable, the cluster size is 32 kilobites, and the target system is BIOS or UEFI.

not familiar with that distro but poking around to see if I could find anything helpful led me to:
- problem could be related to secure boot being enabled in the bios
- problem could be insufficient space in the /boot partition
- problem could be related to corrupted iso - confirm the checksum against https://files.kde.org/neon/images/user/current/

1] Corrupt download [check SHA sum]
2] bad burn to installation medium [try again] [if you used Rufus then try Balena Etcher or Ventoy]
2A] if optical drive burn at slow speed [no more than x3]
3] Wind 8.2 and higher quick start/fast boot or secure boot not disabled [after disabling do a full power re-boot not a restart]
3A ] check that boot from USB/Optical drive is enabled in your BIOS?UEFI
4] defective pen-drive/DVD
5] hardware fault,
5A] If old style HDD run integrity check
5B]if SATA SSD check for hidden...

Have you tried rebooting even after that error? I've seen someone that ran into a problem with an installer and even after having rebooted they were still able to boot into the installed system, so I would first try that.

Did you use an automatic partitioning scheme or did you partition it manually, if the latter can you share the partitioning you setup?
