Solved How to edit a file with live usb?

Hell, i did a mistake, i have to edit files /etc/pam.d/common-auth and /etc/pam.d/common-account (cannot login after i edited these 2 files).
I unlocked the SSD, but i only see 2 dir.:
user@debian:~$ ls /media
root user
Any help ?

Are you running Debian ? Which version?

Do you have Timeshift set up?

What made you need to edit those files initially ?

It is quite possible to boot to a usb stick containing your OS....and carry out an edit there

Why do you then ask how to delete this post?

You don't really delete it. You did mark it solved. What you could do is add a comment telling folks how you managed to solve the issue.

I had just to navigate into the 30GB partition (/) and then edit the two files, my wrong asking for help.
