Alas, I'll have to check in from time to time. I don't mind. I only smoke in my office, studio, and basement. (I smoke cigars.) So, it'll give me a chance to sneak off and enjoy a few minutes to myself. I'm not sure how many people we'll see tomorrow, but it's going to be a bunch.

happy thanksgiving to all! I'm doing the stay at home thing this year, but making rustic garlic mashed potatoes, bacon wrapped meatloaf (for meatloaf sandwiches), green beans, and cherry pie w/ ice cream.

We're set to go, more or less. The pies were delivered about an hour ago.

I know that sounds strange, but I have a 'pie lady' who makes my pies. They are delicious and reasonably cost-effective. Plus, she's an older lady with a fixed income. So, there are multiple good reasons to get pies made for us.

We should even get a little bit of snow tomorrow.

Well, you just need to go to Eustis, Maine. She's right on the corner.

She makes all sorts of pies and will also take requests. So far, every pie has been delicious -- and very reasonably priced.

When I first discovered her, she just has a tiny sign, I bought every pie she had in stock. It wasn't many pies, as it wasn't expected. Still, she was happy to sell them and I was happy to buy them. If you buy them in bulk, you'll get a discount. Otherwise, I think it's like $12 per pie. Which is, as far as I'm concerned, extremely reasonable.

Anyhow, tell her David sent you.

Also, if you go that far, you might as well let me know. You can stop by to visit. I have all sorts of fun things to do.

If you do, you might as well swing by my place. I have a large house with spare rooms. If those run out, I have a bunch of cots.

I used to throw some pretty large parties, so I can accommodate a bunch of people. After all, you'd already be in the area.

Yes, this stuff makes me easy to 'dox'. That's okay. I'm not even a wee bit concerned.
