Google Summer of Code - it offers interesting project opportunities - including for LibreOffice: In May, the LibreOffice projects for Google Summer of Code 2025 were selected.

Nor would it. It's their Summer of Code, a pretty famous event among developers or those curious about that sort of stuff.

It's about programming and not specifically Linux. Otherwise, they'd call it the Summer of Linux!

thanks for the heads up. And yes : of course its not Linux - but since its Libre-Office its a fine and pretty nice part of Open-Source.
