I have windows fx 10 the lastest version installed and I had ms windows 10 before. When windows 10 started getting bad updates messing the os up I finally got out of insider program and decided to go to linux fulltime. I have tried many other linux distros and I always had problems. If a linux distro can break I can break it. Most linux os have a outdated look to them and are hard for me to move around where I need to go. Depending on what I want to do. Never liked the personal settings for appearance. Always hated the appearance option in linux it always had a outdated look no matter what style I picked. But I tried the windows fx 10 and have been using it for 3 months now. Have no problems with it. Works like a charm. Never crashes never breaks and is so easy to move around in. Yes it looks like windows which has the best modern look and feel. But we all know Windows 10 and especially windows 11 is crap. Under the hood Microsoft is slowly destroying the os. Bugs are always there waiting to crash the os driving us nuts. Linux will always be a better alternative os. For first time beginners windows fx 10 will make the crossover to linux a whole lot easier. The ui is exactly what I am use to seeing. Finding a setting is easy. I have the kde plasma version some say why make linux look like windows well it is not just to look like it but to move around in it the same as windows did for comfort. The best layout ui can be the most useful easy comfortable to use. Why not. Check to latest version the installer is fine if you want only one system. It still overs to install beside other system which I don,t usually do because it can back fire occasionally even Microsoft backfires when installing another os next to it.
