I am trying to upgrade to Mint 22 using mintupgrade but I am receiving the error code 100. I don't know what information would be helpful, so here's a screenshot.

@Stormageddon , welcome.

1. What version are you trying to upgrade from?
2. Is this being attempted from Terminal?

Others may have more.

near the bottom it says you have dpkg errors, try running from the terminal sudo dpkg --configure -a before your next attempt

Oh and welcome.

G'day Stormageddon, Welcome to Linux.org

Just in case you are trying to update from Linux Mint 21.3 to Linux Mint 22......the instructions in the below link are from the official source. Follow them closely.

Any further info you can give us about your current install may be helpful ....any extra apps installed from the web etc ?

If you have not had Timeshift installed and set up, ....is your current install running ok...or does it have problems ?

It's always better to do a clean install because things could go wrong and then it's too late. My main SSD has Cinnamon 21.1 running and my other SSD has Cinnamon 22.1 which I installed some time ago. When you download the Mint ISO always run the checksum before you install...this is a must.
