I am trying to upgrade to Mint 22 using mintupgrade but I am receiving the following error when the program runs a check on the APT cache:

I have previously installed postgresql but have since uninstalled it along with pgadmin4.

G'day koba64, Welcome to Linux.org

Did you have a VM (virtual machine) installed on your pc before trying to upgrade it ?

I assume the following steps are the same for Mint as well as Debian based distros... (if not ignore it)

To resolve the warning move keys from /etc/apt/trusted.gpg into /etc/apt/keyrings/
Then update files in /etc/apt/sources.list and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ to point to the new location.

You'll need to do this as root, but I don't know how to get the old keys out of trusted.gpg file.

Then run sudo apt update to apply.

---

Regarding error code, you need to install signing key for steam.

Hi yes I did. I have managed to fix the problem which was the missing signing in key for steam. Thank you for the response though!

Hi . The error was with regards to steam, which was indeed missing the key. Thank you for the help CaffeineAddict!
