I know.
I'm ok with the learning curve if i choose it.
I'm not ok with the idea of tweaking parrot or manjaro and then moving to gentoo. No time for that!
Besides that; I'm not new to linux; the terminal etc.

We don't have (m)any Gentoo users here consistently offering support, but we're here if you need us.

MX 21 Linux Is Based on Debian. Just recently installed it alongside MX 19 dual booting on a Laptop. I am liking it more and more over Mint, which I have on a Dual boot Win10 Build, and another laptop, that Runs Mint.
MX is easy to use, updates are quick and easy. Customizing is simple.

Having to compile your whole system each time you update will take a long time. If you want to move to something that has a bit of a learning curve move to Arch, a binary distribution.
Both the Gentoo and Arch installations only include a base system, they are not just OOTB. Initially you will spend more time compiling (sometimes from source) than you will be able to on web development.

You're not likely to get a satisfactory answer to that in General Linux. Have a browse through Dev-ops or one of our other technical sections and see what is shaking there, and perhaps start a separate thread.

With Arch its not that bad to set up for web dev if your going the sort of traditional way of straight Apache; because the documentation is great. I haven't bothered with MySQl or equivalent since it gives absolutely no security with Wordpress and Sqlite3 does everything i need. I just use direct text editor geany .
So at /srv/httpd I have a few web dev directories and just a couple of tweaks of /etc/hosts httpd.conf and create virtual host text files for each dev and I can reach landing page for each dev just with address of 127.0.2 , 127.0.0.3, 127.0.0. 4 etc
Updates in Arch have caused only some issues with one pkg namely "scribus" so far but nothing with php , sqlite or apache. I've got grunt as a scss preprocessor working , composer for updating CodeIgniter4 and Bootstrap in scss form for front end. All works fine for me for what I want
There is also Slackware which I did use previously for web dev and wrote an approach to web dev on slackware docs.
Probably the single most pleasurable thing about Arch is the package management

Parrot "Home Edition" - Manjaro - Zorin OS are ready to use out of the box, right?
If so i will see which of these three i like the most.
So far these are the most appealing to me!
I am not looking after unnecessary tweaking. I just want a complete Linux, that is private!
Security depends on the user.

just start with ZORIN OS 16 you will get updates till 2025 by that time you can update your system to zorin os 17

Which do you recommend for full stack web development on LAMP?
I will leave windows 10 installed for some extra needs anyway.

Manjaro will be a hard choice for beginners because it is a rolling release and some packages will break with some updates so if you are completely new to Linux try not to choose any arch-based distros to get started
Then comes parrot os it has some of the drivers missing in the repro and the new parrot os 5 release has some issues so you can wait for the issues to be fixed, that doesn't mean it is a bad distro
Then comes Zorin will not affect your workflow that much because of its close resemblance to windows
AND THIS IS LINUX NOT WINDOWS YOU CAN DO ANYTHING LITERALLY ANYTHING WITH YOUR DISTRO! (no limit)
You can install the app you need in any distro that you will install (with the help of PPA's and adding the repro in sources.list file )
if it is a windows native app you can try to run it with help of wine or bottles
NOW THE CHOICE IS YOURS and LINUX IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN WINDOWS

I am not new to linux. I am comfortable with the terminal and figuring out simple scripts etc. But most of my interaction has been with Red Hat and centOS.
I just don't want to waste my time tweaking stuff i don't have to!
I'll try Parrot and Zorin. Whatever i like most is what I'll stick with!
My main reason to move to linux is privacy. Although linux as you said, is always better than windows!
What's your opinion on macOS vs Linux?

just install both of them keep Zorin as main os and parrot as the secondary os

it is an excellent OS, far better than M$, but you still have the, do not own it and everything cost element for that reason linux would still be my choice

Have you tried both?
I had a mac and loved it but there were some compatibility issues with the OS.
This question really is important for me as my linux knowledge is not enough to compare and i already own an expensive dell workstation that i would be willing to sell to get a mac.
I just want the best private OS for full stack web development.
Linux is fine for my laptop, but macOS needs a mac laptop!
Not a bad idea. I can have parrot running in vmware workstation on Zorin as well, for tests.

Yes I have tried them both and the Mac is way better than windows
but still, I love Linux because you will get the power to do absolutely anything with the os, a power that mac and windows does not offer

Indeed. Some macOS software is expensive. And the hardware is way more expensive than a similar priced PC workstation like mine!
My workstation for it's price is twice the power and configuration of a mac for the same price!

Forget windows! I am comparing macOS to linux.
This way i decide whether i keep my hardware or sell it and get a mac laptop!
Linux on a mac hardware is anathema!
Point being. I move to mac or keep my hardware and stick with linux.
That's the decision i got to make!
Moneywise my hardware and linux is the most cost convenient. And as you said, the most configurable!
I think for expansion and possibilities, linux makes the most sense!
