If your looking for stability 'Debian' has never let me down in in 8 years.

MX Linux as @MzQ1NjExN2 shared (also based on Debian) runs flawlessly on an old Chrombook.

And just to confirm Debian's stability MX Linux has been running for 2 years on my 13 year old Sony Vaio....with zero complaints.

I gave you high chances to become a long term Linux user but you pick the wrong distribution. If you wanted it to be stable why you don't pick Debian then? What was the sequence of thoughts that lead you at Fedora? Anyway everyone likes what they like

While he was trying various Linux (mint, zorin etc) from USB, he wasn't happy with the performance, but when he tried fedora he was very happy.
I believe he was running Linux Mint off a USB and if so of course its going to be slower.
