Android Emulator for Mint

Hi All,
I'm looking to get an Ecoflow battery for my home. It's controlled and configured via an app. I don't have (and don't really want) a smart phone.
I'm told that there are such things as Android Emulators and that two such are GAMELOOP and BLUESTACKS.
Presumably they are for windows. Mt laptop is Linux Mint Cinnamon. Anyone know if they will work on my system?

I wasn't sure where to put this. Technically it isn't Linux. But I'm running in on Linux.

waydroid is a Android environment. Think of it as wine for Android. It runs in a container, but it isn't docker or virtualBox.
It uses system resources. It uses your graphics card, your network connection, to run android applications. The cool thing about this, is
of course you can run virtually any android application on your Linux computer. It uses lxc libraries to connect to your resources.

For anyone who needs to use this app (or other apps) but do not have an android or apple smartphone. I was able to get access to this app using Waydroid on Linux Mint. Just make sure port 53 is not in use and that you select gapps instead of vanilla when initially setting up (although you can add/change it later on like I had to). Gapps includes the Google Play store which allows you to install the app and have it working properly. I tried downloading the apk file from other places online and was able to install and open the app but it did not work properly.

OK, coming back to this after a busy life period. Thanks for the help so far.
After reading the Emulator guide fro 2026 (thanks Brickwizard) I think Anbox looks good for me as I'm not a developer and only need it to run the Ecoflow app.
However I'm going to need guiding on this as I'm a total noob.
I guess I need to install Anbox before attempting to download the Ecoflow app, so where do I start?
