    Nobody here is going to be your teacher. But, there are a zillion free online resources to learn how to code.

    Pick the language you want to learn. We'll use Python as an example.

    Head to your favorite search engine and type in, "learn to program in Python for free".

    I read the tutorial and almost straight away it says, "Now you just need to download Linux". I click on it and it gives me a list of different sites I can download but nothing that says Linux. I think I maybe I'm confused. Any thoughts or suggestions.

    Linux is the Kernel that drives all Linux distributions, a distribution is made up of the Kernel, a desktop and a set of apps [we don't call them programs], BUT the confusing bit is that Linux is used as a generic term for a compleat distribution, of which there are over 500 for the desk to and the same if not more for specialist use,

    Hi Rob,

    Just registered to linux.org... Every Linux-promoting organization deserves my support!

    When I tried to connect to linux.org, I arrived at an ad, announcing that 'linux.org' was for sale (from GoDaddy, priced at about $2500). I wonder if that spells the end of linux.org?

    I must input password string everytime when i login my account, it's too insecurity. I think you can cancel this login method replace with other, such as scan login code or picture, SMS verification, and Authenticator app ,etc...

    when access via ssh from windows machine to Linux it requires password to login Linux machine even pub key has been shared on both machines.

    Hello, I am using Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia. I am unable to download update packages. I keep getting this message
