Nails gone. Went to see fave Dr yesterday who gave me a clean bill of health. Typing with all 10 digits now and feeling good!

The honeymoon is over. I've had beautiful, long, gel nails that I craft myself, for several years, now. But I can't type with these nails. (heavy sigh) Nails - must - go. I love Linux, I'm glad to be back on a PC, I HATE cutting down my nails.

Really excited!! I have installed Linux Mate, solved my internet dilemma and fixed my sound problem. I am officially Granny the Geek!! Hey, @Rob, can we change my name to this?

Granny is ecstatic! She's now on the World Wide Web, using her Compaq PC, connected with a WiFi dongle!!! YEEHAW!!!

Evidently, I am far too wordy for you guys. Wizard of Oz wanted me to let you know a little bit about me and I guess I went too far because I had to keep deleting and deleting. (420 words can’t even get me started!) So here you are: I’m 68, have pretty bad health, but still enjoy computing, playing with my grandkids, and lots of needlework. More to come...
