An article about being a newbie...

I do.

Indeed. Sadly, none of them align well with the rich text editor (I use TinyMCE). So, it's manual formatting for me. It's all good. I'm used to it.

I had to learn HTML in college. It was a long time ago, but I think I can remember a lot of it.

If it's not drastically different, and if it would be easier to edit, I could try to send it that way. Doing it that way is really because I wouldn't mind it, I would actually enjoy something like that. The way I remember HTML, writing it actually has a logical order. But forgetting a "<" or a "b", it's not so easy to figure out where I messed up!

I don't remember if apostrophes can be.. crap I can't remember the term. I just remember that sometimes the text itself, the writing that shows up on the screen can end up skewing the code. The page doesn't look like I intended it to look.

I've noticed that kind of thing sometimes when I'm writing or posting something online. When I want to emphasize something sometimes I put an asterisk before and after a word. I can't remember exactly what effect that has in HTML, but I notice it when I post the replay. They work like short cuts when your typing and want the text to be bold or italicized.

I think this works:

But, don't worry. I'm used to formatting and I'll set aside the time to do so.

I'm lacking in time today (if it's not obvious by my level of participation) as I've intermittent guests.

Nah, TinyMCE can handle that. You've probably seen TinyMCE in reality but didn't know that's what it was. It's a fairly common library/application for inserting text and formatting said text. It's quite a bit more advanced than the current WordPress editor which is amusing because it was once the default WordPress editor.

WordPress powers like 1/3 of the public-facing web. It's insane how popular it is.

Don't worry. I can carry on your side of the conversation. I talk so much I probably wouldn't even notice you're not here.

You don't have to write the tags anymore???

That looks easy!
I wish we had that way back when.

You should see TinyMCE. That's just a generic one. TinyMCE is awesome.

That's modified quite a bit, but that's to suit my editing needs.

OMG! I'm actually really using my desktop today like I usually do.
Linux is SO much better than what I had.

7 tabs open in the browser in 2 windows, 3 apps open and Zoom. In more ways than one superior to the Giant. He didn't even see us fly over his head, just heard that sonic boom!

@KGIII

I'm still going to write this. Other pressing matters have presented themselves and must be tended to.
