I think this happened after an update but my Wifi Usb stopped working.

I used Network Manager to connect using my phone, and have internet now. (using systemd-networkd now).

I used Network Manager to connect the Wifi Usb, and although it says "connected", the internet isn't working.
I cannot ping google.ca or 8.8.8.8.

I also did this same test in a Qemu image using usb forwarding, and was able to scan and connect to the network.
But I didn't check if it gave internet. (it was from lan)

I'm using Arch Linux.

When you're connected to gateway but there is no internet:
1. restart router
2. restart network manager with sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager

try pinging again.

This sounds silly given you're troubleshooting internet access.

I second this. It sounds like a DHCP issue in that your router either failed to assign the device an IP properly; or your system failed to call for one. "Connected without internet" generally boils down to this or DNS in my experiences.
