I'll give you an extreme example...
You could say that Hitler was a fairly good painter, but the totality of the situation is important to remember. Just saying the first part without the second part is whitewashing a horrible situation.
Being mentally ill doesn't excuse bad behaviors, unless they truly didn't know right from wrong. He clearly did, if you'd read any of his writing.
His mathematical works are impressive. His brain broke, and he did some pretty horrible things.
He didn't have a high body count, killing just three people. But he injured many more.

When someone brings up Hitler as an example for anything, other than perhaps pure evil, it's time to walk away! No point in even trying. I thought this was about an operating system. I did my best to try and keep it that way.
Don't whitewash the Hitler example as you may as well have compared the holocaust to Terry, my Aunt, and everyone else with a mental illness for God sakes!? That wasn't an extreme example. That was just .... well....evil. Totally uncalled for. Some people we learn to avoid. Lesson learned.
Please don't give me anything else.. I'm good LOL. Humbly bow out. Can't go there.

but what i can agree with him is about technology dangers who let us live in matrix or force the people to unemployed

Absolutely!!! When we can't respect each other's opinions as valid to the point of an administrator treating us like Children, as if how we feel about something Is just completely invalid and so wrong, that he would even bring up a Hitler example!!! That went too far!! Like we are incapable of looking up info if we wanna?? An administrator has to, cram it down our throats?
What about the very cool Temple OS.. That actual Topic?? ???? I don't hate anyone!! I wouldn't go out of my way slander something cool because I didn't like who created it Kinda thing. Simple. Making that point, bring up Hitler? By an administrator?

However, you yourself are a perfectly good reason why his behavior must be considered in civil discourse. You, yourself, didn't know about his racism and mental illness. For some reason, you seem to be offended that you've now learned this information.

It's all good. You've said your piece and I've said mine. If folks still want to discuss the OS and author, they can do so.
Remember this is still primarily a tech forum even though there's an off-topic section, I don't want to be moderating history and wars and everything that comes with that. Terry Davis was a programmer which fits into that, so not sure how it went from there to Hitler and how he fits into that.
Let's just get back on topic from the side topics that were discussed here, will be better for everyone.
I'll just lock the topic as OP hasn't responded since it was first posted, seems pointless to continue discussing this.
