If you use Google Chrome, you should install the latest update ASAP. Google has issued a patch for a high-severity flaw that has been actively exploited in the wild—the first Chrome zero-day in 2026.

Coincidentally, I just updated Chrome.

The article mentions an update on the 13th. I could have sworn that Google Chrome updated just a few days ago, but that could be my memory playing tricks on me.

I completely forgot to reply to this... (I'm a bit distracted and am trying to catch up.)

Every browser regularly has 0-day bugs. They get patched, and those patches move downhill from there.

If you're using Firefox, you'll get the patch first. If you're using a Firefox derivative, you get the patch later.

Due to the nature of forks, it takes even longer for fork-users to get the patch, meaning they're vulnerable for a longer period of time.
