This is the thread where you request account deletion. This is permanent and cannot be undone, so be sure this is really what you want.

Note: Removing your account will not remove your posts.

You have two options. We can rename your account, or we can leave your name attached to the posts you've made. You need to pick one or the other. If you do not specify which option you want, we'll just remove your account without renaming it.

If folks see somebody asking to have their account deleted, send them to this thread. You needn't bookmark it. This thread is easily found, as it is a 'sticky' post in the Forum Assistance sub-forum.

Hmm... It might be worth pruning the thread now and then. We don't really need to keep a record of past account removals.
