When I install NVIDIA driver from repos it always just breaks my system every time
Pls help

I removed the vulgarity from the thread's title.

Frustration is understood, but we have children who visit and we'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks for understanding.

...but we have children who visit...

The OP is 13, and used bad language in his other thread, now edited.

A third strike and he will be taking a month's holiday.

You might need to install nvidia-detect which is available through Synaptic Package Manager
Once installed open a terminal and run
nvidia-detect
This will tell you which Nvidia card you have and list which drivers are supported with it - below is the output for my old Dell - and as you can see I have a NVS5200M that the last Nvidia drivers available are the 390 Legacy drivers which are no longer used - So I just use the default Nouveau drivers and all is good

user@debian:~$ nvidia-detect
Detected NVIDIA GPUs:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation GF108GLM [NVS 5200M] [10de:0dfc] (rev a1)

Checking card: NVIDIA Corporation GF108GLM [NVS 5200M] (rev a1)
Your card is only supported by the 390 legacy drivers series, which is only available up to bullseye.

With Linux Mint Cinnamon it's a simple matter to run the Driver Manager for the NVIDIA driver and the Driver is updated by the Software Manager.
