Today I decided to download Linux and it said I had a wired connection unplugged (I don't use wired connection). Everything I found online didn't help me or solve my issue. Right now I am running off of my phones mobile hot spot. So I can acess internet on my computer and insert commands into the terminal. Please Help.

Welcome to the forums, sorry we are not clairvoyants,,, details please [see my signature]

Oh and if you can run terminal command inxi -N [inxispace-N] and past the results back with your other details

As Brickwizard has already said we need to know what wifi card is in your machine, which linux distro are you using? I would suspect it may be realtek. But let us know and we will try to help get it going for you.

Please consider reading the 2nd link in my signature before posting again. (It's a quick and easy read, and will let you know how to better frame questions - which increases the odds of us being able to help you in a timely manner.)

that shows you have not got any wireless card installed are you by any chance use a usb wifi stick? If so make sure it's plugged in and reboot and run that command again.
