[SOLVED] Firefox Won’t Play YouTube On Ubuntu20.04!

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and this is my first post also. The last couple of days I am facing an issue with my computer. That is Firefox Won’t Play YouTube on Ubuntu 20.04. Guys, I don't know why this is happening and how to fix this issue. Can anyone provide any suggestions for this? Any help will be appreciated.

sounds like your missing a dependency, try..
open terminal type in [or copy/paste from here]
sudo apt install ffmpeg
then enter

Doesn't play at all, or stutters? I ask because I've seen recent complaints elsewhere about stuttering.

And, does it play if you open Firefox from the terminal with:

firefox -safe-mode

You may need to install Ubuntu-restricted-extras also.

sudo apt install ubuntu-restricted-extras

sorry just had another thought,,, did you enable DRM in your firefox?

Thanks for replying. You are right. Already I figured out this issue after applying the processes of this article found after searching on Google. I just disabled hardware acceleration on Firefox. I hope it will helps others also.

Huh... That's usually what I tell people who have browser bugs on Linux and use Chrome/Chromium. Disable HA and restart your browser (it fixes all sorts of weird bugs). Now with Firefox too?
