How are you measuring your internet speed.
What type of internet service are you connected to.
If you're getting 600Mbps I'd say that's excellent.
I have 1GB fiber internet.
Download 368.42 Mbps
Upload 357.13 Mbps

Computer 1: dd if=/home/richard/random.bin bs=4096 count=262000 status=progress | nc ONE 1
Computer 2: nc -l -p 1 > /dev/null
/home/richard/random.bin resides on a 250Mbyte/sec SSD (Not a ST-506)
dd reports the messured speed to about 60-70 megabytes per second
So bruh !! i'm not transferring data between myself and a 80x286 computer in Kabul.
I'm transferring 1024 megabyte random data thru 2 cables connected to a switch, all gigabit lan.
and 60 megabyte per second is only half speed.
