Hi There

I've been on a journey with my ET-2810 Printer and got it printing well now.

I've just gone to scan my first document since Starting with Linux Mint and it's not playing nicely.

I have 3 scanning apps:

Epson Scan 2
Image Scan
Document Scanner

None of them seem to be able to connect to the printer, even though I have it working to print????????

Any ideas gratefully received.

Best Regards

The print (cups) and scan (sane) are separate subsystems, i.e. the device configuration is different. Check first, if you got the most current Epson scan2. If that does not setup the scanner, there are some other options to configure it manually.

I use an older model successfully with the https://gitlab.com/utsushi/utsushi driver. I don't see your model listed there, but choosing a slightly older one (like ET-2720, just judging from the name) may work.

Simple scan [document scanner] should work in any system, but only if your printer is set as default

You did download the Scanner Driver ?

Once the Driver utility is installed..the Scanner will work.
I use NAPS2...

And Document Scanner...

Hope this helps.
