Replace the front ports with USB 3.0 ports

You didn't answer my question: will you give me the new computer? So I do more fast and I don't change everything piece by piece :)

I run middle age kit, I have but one desktop and one laptop [for when not in the workshop] the desktop is an HP pro-desk 400, it cost £80 delivered 4 years ago, the first thing I did was increase the ram [a cheap upgrade] then the expensive one I used my only PCIE4 slot to use an adapter card and fit an NVMe [total cost £18]Keeping the main drive [ SATA HDD] for storage, even with the upgrades its now only worth around £50 I have been contemplating a refurbished CPU upgrade, but that will cost £40 so not worth it [that would have given me a 14% increase in speed] but it's not to be.
