Reminds me of home.:)

My favorite is Pemaquid Point. Though they've done some construction on the site, it's still my favorite. If you get out of the car and do some exploring, you can climb a hill to find a delightful restaurant. I want to say that the name has changed, but it's now called the SeaGull. Food was amazingly cheap for the conditions.

There used to be a fisherman's co-op, but now it's owned by a company. They sell lobster and all of that. I haven't been over that way in a bit, but they used to have the 'catch of the day'. I mention that because the restaurant up on the hill would cook and serve that same catch of the day. I do not know how true this is today.

And, especially considering their location, quality, reputation, and more, they were still amazingly inexpensive. A meal involving the catch of the day would be maybe $20. Even their lobster was cheap (for what it was). It was not much higher than 'boat price'. Generally speaking, they served a lot of food that came directly from the fisherman's co-op. It was just down the hill.

I discovered the place when I first went to the lighthouse, which was entirely by accident. The restaurant is so good that I make it a point to stop there when I'm in the area. I've also made it a specific destination, even though it's a bit of a drive. It'd be under three hours, but you're sure to stop somewhere along the way. It'll largely take the entire day for me to go to the coast, which is not something I'm complaining about.

Man, I really need to get over there sometime soon. I should do it before Memorial Day. The missus hasn't even been there, which tells you that it has been a while since I went there. The place is interesting. There's a museum and an art gallery (from which I've bought a couple of pieces). In town, there's a quaint ice cream shop.

It fills up with tourists pretty quickly. Thus my desire to get there before Memorial Day.

The following is not my desktop background. Nor is it my image. I just went and found a cool image of the Pemaquid Point lighthouse. I'll share it, in case someone else wants to use it.

There were multiple sources for the image, so I do not know who gets the credit for such an awesome picture. I really dig the reflection in the tidal pool.

If you're asking me how I use this OS, I'll answer: excellent. With my hardware configuration, this OS is ideal.

It's Mint with a skin applied.

You had me there, nicely done! With some themes/skins you are able to tell the difference, but with these I couldn't tell the difference. The wallpaper with this is Windows version is not activated really was the cherry on top to make it look real!
Well played! ;)

The fun of linux, it can be as easy or difficult as you want. You can make it look like anything you want. Once past the initial learning curve of how to do stuff, it's awesome. Zorin for our needs kicks A$%.

It will be a slow transition to total MS out of our lives, but it's starting.
