Wow they sure look different than when I was in the cockpit of a C130 back in the 1970s.

the designation is C130-J 4C manufactured around the year 2000
I wish..... this is from a training flight a couple of days ago
edit.. they are official RAF photo's I have a few more but where would I post them

Sorry to say, during our travelling days, the only mainland area we got to was Thessaloniki and the Kassandreia peninsular, Athena was on our list, but a few years back my wife decided she didn't wish to fly any more, we had a good run at it 19 visits to various islands in 14 years.
By the way, y'all ruined it. Well, they ruined it by responding too quickly. When I saw the question about the language, I was going to reply "It's all Greek to me!" Alas, I missed the chance to do so.
Anyhow, the low-level C-130 (I've got a few stories, for another time) reminded me of the Australians doing their thing with a C-30. If you're timid, or live in the area, you might not want to see the crazy (and awesome) Aussies fly:
