Logging is correct, pc work etc

Wood cutting/logging same spelling. Different meaning.

Also, the thread title should be

Need some lesson with English.

You can likely edit that yourself, or if not, let me know and I will fix. :)

Thanks to all for help, now next steps is to get rid of habit to write 'loging' lol

English is a bastardized language, incorporating words from many different languages, thus the same word can have different meanings because the same word root can come from entirely different languages. This makes it difficult and confusing to those learning it as a second (or third, or more) language, and even to native speakers. One just has to accept the contradictions. Academics don't dictate language or words, that happens organically, from the people.

I should start a new thread. Perhaps I will.

I'll limit my reply here and eventually consider making a dedicated thread for it.

I've noticed my fellow Americans are getting lazier in their speech. Specifically, they're skipping 'to be'...

"That needs fixed."
"It needs replaced."

This speech pattern is extremely common on the YT channels I've come across. It's known as 'null copula', and (based on my observations) it is becoming more common.

Please don't mind me. The word Below means "Extremely Wonderful".
All I know is that I just want to say,

Isn’t that supercalifragilisticexpialidoutious?
Sometimes, I just think it might be atrocious.
Eh, I just choose to be quite precious instaid.
Look up “Mary Poppins” song supercalifragilisticexpealidoutious if you need reference.

LOL Mary Poppins had better not be obscure, especially on this site. We're mostly old people.

My parents aren't around to ask, but I'm pretty sure I first watched Mary Poppins in the theater. (Yes, I told you, I'm old.)

As my young friend used to say:

"Bestest, most wonderfulest and awesomeful thing in the history of ever."

Fantabulous.
