MX Linux 25 RC1

that it carries "systemd". is a surprise to me. :O

there's no choice away from it. if you want kde plasma.

i understand why they did it. but other people will think this distribution. has steadily offered inferior quality over the years. according to at least two persons i saw babbling in other forums. mx linux 17 was about the highest point.

the only thing bad with "libretto" with fluxbox. for me is that i had to uninstall pipewire for pulseaudio. for the sake of !one! windows program with wine. but it's my sensibility. this release of mx linux 23 was in many ways. superior to "wildflower." which i wanted to keep instead. one although small highlight of "bookworm".

I think they will be offering systemd and sysvinit but they will be different .iso files and this is because of changes in Debian 13 (I think) whereas in previous versions you could select which one you wanted when loading the system or selecting one and restarting (I forget).

I've used 23 Libretto and it was fine. Are you using it as your daily driver?
