After installing 22.2 on a desktop and a laptop, only the desktop has had a problem with the screen randomly shutting down, that is black screen & no visible mouse cursor; the mouse does nothing when clicking on it.
The device randomly shuts the screen down and then resumes to the current working session. The length of time varies when the screen shuts down before resuming. The most was 3 minutes or so. This is not the same as shutting down the whole device and then rebootting. The screen shuts down and then resumes.
Mint 22.1 was installed on the same desktop but there was no such problem of screen shutting down. Ended up using Mint 22.1 but the desktop should have 22.2 as suggested.
Went through Mint 22.2 Driver Manager for the desktop to load any new drivers but it was checked and no new drivers.
Power settings are the same for 22.1 and 22.2, but 22.2 has had problems with the screen.
Searched the internet but nothing was said about such problem, so nothing can be done.
Is this a bug?
